Thorndon Country Park

The woodlands of Thorndon North surround the beautiful Childerditch pond and also host the famous Gruffalo Trail. The open parkland at Thorndon South is busy with families enjoying picnics, where you can fly a kite on one of its many hills.  There are some fantastic walks through ancient woodland and historic deer parks which lie close alongside recently planted woodland and a landscape of small pastures.
