Brentwood Arts Council have set up a weekend long workshop aimed at 16 – 18 year olds who are thinking of pursuing Acting as a profession.

Across the weekend, students will be assisted by two working actors to help them find, rehearse and workshop a speech of their choice for Drama School or University auditions.

The weekend will also be led by industry professional Lu Corfield (Acting Course Casting at Guildford School of Acting. Acting credits include: ‘Crazyhead’, ‘Stella’, ‘Rev’ and ‘Doctors.’)

Lu and the panel will host a Q&A session, and give the students an opportunity to perform their speech with detailed feedback. Students will leave the workshop with more knowledge and understanding of the industry, and a well worked speech that they will feel confident with heading into their year of auditions.
