Brentwood’s numerous Country Parks are havens for nature-lovers, walkers and families alike. Thorndon Park is home to the famous Gruffalo Trail, Weald Park the home of Stickman and there’s real animal magic at Old MacDonald’s Farm on the outskirts of the town. Over at Brentwood Park you can get your snowsports kicks all year round.
The TV show ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ thrust Brentwood into the national spotlight as a popular tourist destination and inspired the ‘TOWIE Trail’. For some serious retail therapy, Crown Street and the characterful old streets leading off Brentwood High Street are a must-visit destination.
Two very different aspects of British history are reflected in the 16th century Ingatestone Hall and the Secret Nuclear Bunker in Kelvedon Hatch, an eerily fascinating, subterranean reminder of the Cold War era. So with so much to see and do in Brentwood, it's a great day out for the whole family to enjoy.

DISCOVER BRENTWOOD THEATRE
Brentwood Theatre aims to provide the people of Brentwood and the surrounding areas with a vibrant, artistically challenging community theatre offering a wide-ranging programme in the performing arts.
Since opening, our popularity has grown and grown. We now regularly see over 17,500 visitors every year, coming along to see a wide variety of productions. Most of the shows are performed by non-professional (‘amateur’) companies who rehearse in local halls, arrange costumes, build scenery etc etc and bring in their finished production to us for your entertainment.
Over forty groups regularly use Brentwood Theatre for their shows, and many of them now consider us their home.
The theatre build finally finished in November 1993 ready for our first ever show; Pigspurt, produced with with Ken Campbell. This was a pidgeon English one man screwball comedy, a style in which Ken was particularly skillful, and well known for.
